Usually, I don't like revenge like that... but I hoped the FMC was a bad ass or the MMC's plan backfired.
Sport is not very important - so if you like sport-romances you can be deceived. Characters were.
Juliette is a very sweet girl; she never swears or does anything foolish. She was a good girl, who liked her best-friend and... pretty underwear I suppose.
Aaron is a pro-athlete, entirely dedicated to his sport, like Juliette's brother. When his girlfriend cheats on him, he is furious. And Juliette was a perfect tool for his revenge. It was a bold move, and Declan was not proud of himself. Repeatedly, he was saying that Juliette was too nice and innocent; she just doesn't deserve this - even if her brother was a *** Aaron is wrecked by guilt, but keep doing it anyway. So, even if the end was good and right, he was not a cool MMC.
The best character was Juliette's BFF. She was fun, strong-headed, and loved Juliette. She can kick her ass out AND be supportive.
Characters were very basic, as readers we just wait for the resolution. It's a little spicy but not too much. There is drama, but not too much.
Well, it was decent and fun... but not too much.
A good story if you want an HEA with nice FMC. But it's a little too soft for my taste.
