That read was pleasant! A cross between "Hunger Games" and Elizabeth Dear "Shifter Guardians Academy". It was enjoyable even without any surprise.
Despite the FMC's robust nature, she can accept assistance; this is a change, as typically the FMC are notoriously independent, preferring to handle issues on their own, save for emergencies that could be life-threatening.
Though they are caricatures, I believe the boys still have potential. Their personalities struggle with development in this first book, but there's hope for improvement in future volumes.
Curious, I now wish to read the next book, making it a win for me :)

The first book will be free of explicit content, suitable for young readers or those who dislike that kind of material.
